FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does the app cost?

Toi is free to download, and all the core planning tools — events, guests, tasks, budget, kade and invitations — are available at no cost.

For big celebrations and families preparing together there is a Premium subscription: it lifts the free version's limits and unlocks extra features. Current pricing is shown in the app; payment goes through Google Play.

Where is my data stored and how secure is it?

Account, event and guest data is stored on servers in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as required by the Law on Personal Data and Its Protection.

  • Servers and backups are in a data center in Astana. The provider (PS.kz) is certified to the information security standards ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (TÜV Rheinland) and ST RK ISO/IEC 27001-2023.
  • The connection to the server is encrypted (HTTPS); backups are stored encrypted.
  • We don't sell data. Only you and the helpers you've granted access can see your guest lists.

More details in the Privacy Policy.

How do guests reply to an invitation?

You create an invitation in the app and send the link to a guest via WhatsApp, Telegram or another messenger.

  • The guest opens the page in a browser — no need to install the app.
  • On the page they see everything about the celebration and mark whether they'll come, with an optional comment.
  • The reply appears in your guest list right away, and the totals show on the event's main screen.

Other guests and their replies aren't visible on the page.

Can I prepare together with others?

Yes. Send an invitation link to relatives, friends or an organizer — they become helpers. Give each of them full access or only certain sections: for example, guests and kade for your mom, tasks and budget for the organizer. The activity log shows who changed what, and access can be revoked at any time.

How does the app use my contacts?

Phone contacts are used only to add guests faster. Only the people you pick are added. Your address book is never uploaded to the server, and we never message your contacts.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. Core data is also stored on the phone, so you can view and edit guests, tasks and budget without a connection. Once you're back online, changes are saved to the server and become visible to your helpers.

Which languages does the app support?

Kazakh, Russian and English. You can switch the language in settings at any time.

Is there an iPhone version?

The iPhone version is in the works. Toi is currently available for Android on Google Play. When it reaches the App Store, the link will appear on this page.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Without the app — on the account deletion page.

  • All events, guests, tasks, budget, photos and invitation pages are deleted together with the account.
  • You can download a copy of your data before deleting.
  • Cancel your Premium subscription separately in Google Play — deleting the account doesn't cancel it.
About us
Той

Made in Kazakhstan

We built Toi because we couldn't find a planner that understands our celebrations. Typical apps are designed for a single Western-style wedding and know nothing about kade, family roles or rituals. A Kazakhstani family has many celebrations — shildekhana, tusau kesu, jubilees, housewarmings, Nauryz — and Toi has a place for each of them.

Our goal is for every family to have a calm celebration — and for the organizers to enjoy it too.
